Indonesia Mandatory National Standard for Toys

Under Indonesia’s new National Standard for Toys, effective April 30, 2014, products dols in Indonesia must be tested to the new toy safety regulation by a laboratory appointed by the Ministry of Industry (MoI), bear the SPPT SNI Product Certification from approved Product Certification Body (LSPro) and be labelled with the SNI Mark.

The product must be sampled and tested to the new Indonesian National Toy Standard by a laboratory that is approved by the Ministry of Industry and testing shall be done for everyshipment imported into the country.

Compliance Requirement

    • Manufacturers/Importers/Producers shall apply for the SPPT-SNI (Product Certification for the Compliance of Indonesian National Standard) from LSPro (Product Certification Body) through a Certification System No.1B
